Summarise entries

New year, new blog url & layout which I started creating 2 months back. How? Like this new design? Tag your feedback at the tagboard!

Many things to say since my last entry. But I didn't want to go into any indepth details since it's over for some time already. Just a quick summary:

12th Nov 2011: Celebrated our 10th pator anniversary on this day where both of us took leave. Went to Kbox KTV, followed by dinner at following. No gifts to each other, but it's the quality time spent together without the kids around.

This was a place we frequent quite often during our later stage of pator days. We like this venue because of the environment and also it's located very near mum's place (I am staying at Clementi previously!)

24th Dec 2010: Xmas celebration with Hui's family. Hui was able to book out from reservist on this day so he got to celebrate with us. Nice dinner with nice companion (too bad 2nd SIL kena dengue n was hospitalise, so she had to give this party a miss). Gift exchanged was usually the highlights of the event. Great thanks to elder SIL, I've got a Kate Spade bag for my gift which was way over our agreed budget! Love it to bits and will put into good use in few months time!

Their cutie little outfit on this day

My gift from elder SIL. We had draw lots earlier to see who was buying gift for who. Was quite surprised to receive this as my gift exchanged!

25th Dec 2010: Stayed home with the girls as Hui had to book in early morning and stayed in camp till next day.

26th Dec 2010: Poly friends boxing day party at my humble house. Again like last year, took many photos infront of my tall Xmas tree. This year we had full ladies force - the 4 ladies are present (TGE, Eve, LQ & me). Some of them brought their partners along and this group is getting bigger! Andrew also had his ROM today and joined us later in the evening with his wife. Happy for him! Gifts exchanged were only for the kids who attended.

CNY 3-6 Feb 2011: Only managed to go house visiting for first day. 2nd day onwards Chloe was having high fever (highest temp@39.2!) and we were confined at home for the rest of long weekend!

Their outfit on Day 4 - Sun 6th Feb. Chloe recovered and kept saying wan gai gai. So last day of the long weekend, we brought them out.

11th Mar 2011: My birthday celebration at MBS hotel. I have very good corporate rate at MBS, hence booked a 1 night stay. It's was a great day spent with Hui & the darlings. Went swimming at skypark after we check-in and followed by room service dinner. Hui's family drop by the room with a birthday cake at around 9+pm and we had a noisy (laughter filled the room) cake cutting session in the room :).

15th Mar 2011: Chloe had a fall! A bad fall! It happened at 11pm where they were getting ready to sleep. Chloe was jumping on the bed and singing away. Daddy had asked her to stop and just when Daddy was on the way to stop her, she slipped and fell off the bed. Initially we thought she only knocked her head but it seems more serious than we thought. She couldn't sleep that whole night complaining her shoulder was painful. She didn't dare to move her right arm much either and doesn't allow us to touch her.
So the next day morning we brought her to KKH A&E for x-ray. Indeed she had a fractured collarbone and was on sling for 1.5 week. Luckily this girl was still quite obedient and willing to put on the sling, even when sleeping. We told her not to move too much on her right hand she followed all our instructions. Whenever other people wanted to touch her right hand to take a look at the wound, she would move away and shouted at them.
We even brought her to the senior Orthopaedic specialist at Gleneagles the next day after visiting KKH. His consultation was really expensive, but at least we got our peace of mind that it's nothing too serious and the bone will heal and restructure back itself. At their age now, the bone heal faster than a grown-up adult so asked us not to worry.

24th Mar 2011: We brought Chloe back to KKH to see the specialist which we had made an appointment earlier on at the A&E. The specialist claims her bone is healing well and nothing needs to be done. She could even be off the sling and advise us not to restrict too much of her movement and let her move naturally. Just need to be more careful not to let her hurt the shoulder anymore. We were very relief to hear that and Chloe was very happy to remove the sling too. We kept asking her if her shoulder still pain and she always gave us a smile and commented "Not pain already lah!"

2nd April 2011 If you looked at the right column, you will notice a big news. Well, at least to those who didn't know about the news yet, it might consider big?
Yes, Mummy Chua is pregnant again! Tested positive in middle Dec 2010.

KiaSu me did 2 test to ensure it's not false alarm!

Went to see my Gynae on 18th Dec. Indeed, it was confirmed by Gynae that I am pregnant and this time she only saw one sac! Lucky me! At week 15, she had already confirmed with us the gender but Hui preferred to wait till week 20 detail scan to double confirm it. 2nd April, we went for our detail scan. Everything went smoothly and the baby is fine without abnormalies discovered. Gender is also confirmed by the Senior Radiographer - same as to what our Gynae had mention . Needless to say here, you should know what gender #3 is from the right side of the blog :)
