Spring Cleaning

CNY is just round the corner. Usually near this date, I will find one day to stay at home and clear up the stuffs in my room. Today hui was in camp for reservist. So it's the best time for me to guai guai stay at home and clear up my bedroom before mum go nag nag nag again..
Woke up at 10+am. Nua in bed till 11+am, get up brush my teeth, had my lunch, watch tv....started the spring cleaning at 2pm. First thing to start off was my bed head glass window. Previously I had 12 Hello Kitty soft toys displayed in the glass window. This yr, I've decided to keep all of them and redecorate that area. So this yr, how and what have I decided to decorate it with?? well...pic as follows:

The top layer which I called it 'Shunhui & Shara's Corner' (Intend to do a banner soon), display all the stuffs that he did or brought for me for the past 4yrs+, and also stuffs that we did or brought together. The bottom layer are more of my personal stuffs.

Can you believe it, just by cleaning that 2 layers of stuff spent me 3hrs+! Another 2hrs was spent wiping my bedhead, dig out some new photos to replace the old ones, clearing up the rubbish, washing whatever stuff that are dirty etc etc..

After resting awhile, 7+pm went to bathe before going out with mum to central for dinner and helping her to carry things from NTUC. Reach home was already 10+pm. What a tiring wkend to spent. Tmr hui will bookout from camp. Think he'll pull me to go execise again which was never successful coz I'm just too lazy for that. I can shop the whole day without getting tired, with him complaining of walking too much. But I just can't go for a jog which will only take me 30mins.....hmmm....well...woman's nature...can't blame me for that too...:p

I need motivation!

Fat, Fat, Fat! Looking at the mirror again and again, just hated the way I am now!
I really need execise..but I dun have the motivation to continuously do it! I always say I must go for jogging later, but in the end, I was found lying in bed watching TV!
How?? How to make oneself be motivated to do something? Hmm, will $$ help me?? Sign up for some areobic or other classes. I bet no matter how, I'll drag myself to be there cause I have already paid for the lesson. It'll be a waste of $ if I did not attend. How abt that??
Execise, Execise, Execise! To lose at least 3-4kg, tone up my flabby arms, flatten my tummy...that'll be my latest goal now. :(

A piece of thought

I was on msn with one of my colleague/friend who have been roll-off from my current project to another project. She was complaining on how bad the 'S' project is, compared to 'N' project (My current project). Before she roll-off, the people in 'N' project was like congratulating her for able to rolloff so early coz 'N' project was not a good place to stay in! Lousy management, lousy system, lousy working hours, so its a blessing to be able to rolloff! But..it was also because she had a chance to be at another project that she realise 'N' project infact was a better place to work in. This is beacause 'S' project had even lousier managment, lousier system and in time to come...maybe lousier working hrs too!

That's human nature! We are always complaining about things, and when we are given a chance to try another thing, then we'll realise the former is better. But, its too late to regret coz time can nvr turn back.

I was talking on msn with another friend too and she was in a decision on whether to quit her current job or continue staying there. She was very unhappy with her job now cause of politics issue and her colleagues are treating her badly. However, pressure from her parents and bf make her in a dilema if she shld tolerate all the nosense and continue working or to quit and get another job, with the possibility of unemployed for a few mths. But if she found another new job, will she find that infact, the former place wld be a better place to work with?

So if the current situation is not that bad, should we be contented with what we have?
But.. if we dun try, how will we know if the former or latter is better? Dilema right? That's life!

Typical Singaporean!

Yest hui and I went to Chinatown to watch the start up of the lightings and fire crackers. It was a nightmare!! I reach the place at ard 4+pm, went for a early dinner at maxwell food centre, because I knew by the time the whole thing finish, it shld be quite late. After the dinner, went to walk around and reach the stage area ard 5.30pm.
We got quite a good view to watch the fire crackers as we are quite early. The fire crackers supposedly shld start at 7pm. We waited and waited..the crowd was getting bigger. Can't stand some ppl, they came late, and still keep squeezing inorder to get to the front! Then what's the purpose of standing there early!
At ard 6.30pm, some tcs ppl from Liang Jia Ban(Jack Neo's team) arrived. Then the commotion happened!
Infront of me were 2 aunties and a uncle carrying a child. They started to quarral due to pushing issues. They started off scolding in mandarin and then turn to english..
Then...due to the big crowd, one of the jewellery store owner complain to the police that the crowd are pushing their closed glass door and might break it..the police had no choice but to move the railings more to the front so that the crowd is able to see more clearly, and also not to obstruct the entrance of the jewellery shop.
BUT, the exciting part happened..the people standing in the very front objected of moving the railings more towards the front coz they are afraid the ppl behind will keep pushing them to the front and they might fall. Especially coz there are many kids standing in front. However, the police assure them it wun happen...in the end...well...the behind really started pushing and everyone was screaming around. Me and hui was then being push to the back!I've wasted 1.5hrs standing there grabbing a good view and when the show was going to start, there goes my view. I was blk by all the tall ppl! Luckily still manage to peep thru some "holes" to watch the firecrackers. Then the ppl started complaining abt the police, saying : "How will the singaporean listen to them!! If they listen, then they are not singaporean liao!!" ... I just laugh to myself!
After the crackers went off, going back to the carpark was a headache too! The crowd just stop there!! No one was moving!! Behind keep pushing!! Ppl are quarraling!! OMG!!! What a scene!!
After we manage to get to the carpark, to get out of the place was the only thing in my mind.
We headed to the Cheese prata shop for our supper near pasir panjang road @ ard 10pm. Reach home at 12+am. This will be my first and last time to go for such event at chinatown!

I also bought a mango cake for Phyllis too! BUT..the cake is much "bigger" than what I bought today! It's a mango mousse cake from emicakes shop...Mmmm...I LOVE the mousse cakes there!! It's simply delicious!!:Þ
