Bad Bad Bad
Today had our so call full dress rehearsal. Once again, we got cheated for bringing our clothes without wearing it! Everytime when they ask us to bring our costume, we didnt get to wear it at all. Then what's the point of bringing?? To add more weight to our bags??
Today rehearsal was the first time to gather ALL the green beans and do a performance altogether. Usually on the sat, we just split into different groups and practice on our own. Today, all the teams gather in one room and we did a full rehearsal. It was absolutely bad! The choir do not know what they suppose to sing and couldn't catch up with the song as they dun even know when to start singing. The music for the slow dance got edited (slower by couple of beats) without telling the slow dance members, hence they couldnt dance along with the music. The main lead was in Bangkok for 2 weeks, hence got a temporary substitute which she dun even know where she shld stand and wasted alot of time. The acting team was not bad, but due to techincal issue, the last part couldnt get perform. The blocking was not done properly hence instead of 3 fast dance, we reduce to 2 due to the insufficient space on stage. To summarise, well..the title says all.
Buffet lunch was catered for us. There's an audition today for talentime. The finalist will be singing on stage during the D&D. Winner will walk away with $1000 cash. There are suppose to be 6 contestants. 2 backout, left 4. Do we still need to audition?? All the 4 will definitely get into the final. One of the judge (ACN staff) ended the audition with "..... All the contestants did very well. You guys have such talent, why the F*** are you still staying in ACN....". Totally agree!
Today bought many things during shopping in the noon. I finally bought my gown at Daniel Yam for the D&D...*heartache*.....Will I get to wear it second time?? I don't think so...
Today was a tiring day..wkend always seems to pass so fast. Next week I'll be so busy..Dateline for my enhancement is near. Got to finish my coding asap, but I DUNO HOW TO DO! No training provided and just throw me the shit work. It's time to sent the R*****.

A healthy lifestlye
My sis just came back yesterday after having training at US for 3wks. Today I finally pull myself out of the house to go jogging with my sis. Jog 2.4KM without stopping. Had an apple for dinner. After abt 1.5yrs++, I finally went back to my execise again. Still rem the last time I went consistantly jogging was before I work at Starhub which was ard Aug 2003. Haa, quite long ago right??!! After I started work, just dun have the motivation anymore. Everyday reach home, I'm too tired to get out of the house again.
My life shall change from today onwards! For the start, I shall jog for a shorter distance. As times goes by, the distance will be longer and longer...I need to go back to the healthy lifestlye. Not only to slim down, but also to keep fit and increase my immune system. But how long will this last? Hmm..I hope it'll at least last till next yr! ;)

A new PC
I have finally replace my antique PC on sunday. Went to Sim Lim with seh choi and hui. Bought my hardware parts from the shop call Dignity. It was on the 4th floor near the escalator. The boss have quoted me quite a good price. This is because seh choi knew the boss as he have been recommending many friends to buy from that shop.
Bought motherboard, P4 3.0 with HT Tech, 2 Kingston 256mb ram, Seagte 80G SATA HDD, Casing tower, Nvidia Geforce FX5200 128MB graphic card, keyboard + optical mouse + sub woofer speaker (FOC) for $863.
Reach home ard 1+pm and we started our DIY session. Hui fixing the hardware and seh choi in charge of installation of OS & software. Me?? Hahaha, was busy wiping my computer table. It was so dusty. Learnt quite abit of hardware installation from the guys. Especially the fragile processor! Just one pin break and there goes a few hundreds bucks!
To award the two guys, I made linguine pasta for dinner. Cream of chicken soup and bbq chickens were the side dish for that day. Rating from the guys are quite good. But maybe that's because they dun wana disappt me??! I find the pasta sauce quite tasteless. It was too salty at first and I added in water. Hmmm, maybe I added too much. But the sauce is not watery, infact it was still quite thick despite that amt of water I added in. Shall try again next time. The sauce was from the brand Domlio -Cream of Vegetable and Garlic.
By 8+pm, everything was done. Seh choi and hui went off together. Hui's house was having bbq. I did not attend because next day have to work and I need to clear up the mess. And I think for the mean time, it's better I stay away from Hougang. Why?? Maggie, you shld know...hehe.. For the others, hmmm..it's a secret. Haha..
Credits to seh choi for the lorry tranport to and fro from home to sim lim and back plus the installation of the pc. Credits to hui for ....ermmm....everything you have done for me.....*blush*
----------------
On sat, as usual, had my green bean dance rehearsal. Nothing special, just keep practising and practising. They have decided to change the costume for the performance from formal wear to casual wear. Yippy!! Still havent decide what to wear during the D&D. Rumours spreading that it must be LONG evening gowns for the ladies and black TUXEDO for the guys. Hope it's really rumours. It will be a waste of $$ to buy a long gown as I'm sure I'm only gona wear it once. At least if it's just a cocktail dress, I can still wear it during hui's sis wedding in May.
Anyone have evening gown to loan??? ^_^

Happy Birthday To Peiyi
Just came back from dinner. Phyllis, Peiyi, Limei and I went to Clementi for dinner to celebrate Peiyi's bday. Jenny drop by for awhile and she had to rush for her tuition. Peiyi bday is 11th April. We had to celebrate for her so early is because today is the only day majority can make it until Monday (her bday).
Nothing special, had food at a Jap store, chit chatted and then all splitted for home. Though it's a simple one, at least we put in effort to have a mini gathering on everyone's bday. It's the thoughts that count, isnt it?
Last sat, we had our rehearsal for the green bean event. We learnt more dance steps. One complete dance is out. We had 2 more to go. Time is too tight. How can we remember so many dance by 6th May when we only had rehearsal every Sat??!
Hmmm...Hui, you shall see how we embarrassed ourself on that night. As your dear is also up there performing, pls do not laugh too loud huh! And also do not tell ur project mates that the one dancing most horribly is ur gf! Dun make me 'malu' ah!
This coming sat, we'll have to bring our costume to let the crew personnel review. 1 set of formal wear, 1 set of beach wear and also matching shoes for the clothing. So troublesome!! Shall pack my stuff tmr night after back from outing with my polymates.

Specially dedicated to the 1 still struggling in office now
I know it's tough for the past 1 mth.
You didn't have enough sleep for many consecutive days.
Please take care of your health and drink more water.
Without my consent, you are not allow to fall sick!
Every night thinking of you riding home when you are so tired, I just can't help worrying.
There are always disturbing calls from the company asking if you are going back to the office when I finally have some time with you during the wkend.
I believe these days will be over pretty soon and you will become a stronger person.
Ganbatte Ne!
LIFE'S STRUGGLES
...
"A man found a cocoon of an emperor moth. He took it home so that he
could watch the moth come out of the cocoon. On the day a small opening
appeared, he sat and watched the moth for several hours as the moth
struggled to force the body through that little hole.
The moth seemed to be stuck and appeared to have stopped making progress.
It seemed as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther.
The man, in his kindness, decided to help the moth; so he took a pair of scissors
and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The moth then emerged
easily. But its body was swollen and small, its wings wrinkled and
shriveled. The man continued to watch the moth because he expected that,
at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to and able to
support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened! In fact, the little moth spent the rest of its life crawling
around with a small, swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
The man in his kindness and haste did not understand that the struggle required
for the moth to get through the tiny opening was necessary to force fluid from the
body of the moth into its wings so that it would be ready for flight upon achieving
its freedom from the cocoon. Freedom and flight would only come after the
struggle. By depriving the moth of a struggle, he deprived the moth of health.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through
our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. We would not be as strong as
what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for
regrets, and don't forget the power in the struggle."
