Get Together

Limei was back from her honeymoon. Met up with her, Phyllis and Jenny for lunch Dim Sum at Crystal Jade, Holland Village. We had a nice chat over the lunch with her telling us her tour experience in New Zealand. After the lunch, we went Centre Point for shopping. Jenny went home after the lunch as she wanted to prepare for her BBQ at night. 3 of us were not kin on shopping at all. We made many circles walking around without really stopping for awhile to see or touch on any product in the store. In fact we were more interested yakking away. In the end, Phyllis suggested to sit down for a drink instead and chat since all of us were not concentrating on shopping. We sat at the McDonald for 2hrs+ with 3 cups of ice milo and chit chatting away. Sometimes I just wonder why do we have so many things to talk about.
Super Ji Za Por, we are!

Met Hui in the evening for dinner. Had dinner at Marina Square Foodcourt and shop around after the dinner. Bought a belt for myself to be used on the hipster jeans of mine. Shops started to close at 9.30pm. The night was still young and we decided to go Tong Shui Cafe for some desserts. As usual, this place was always pack with many people. The waiter told us we need to wait for at least 45mins for the food. Since both of us got so many time to spare, we waited. This was the 2nd time we went to this place, hence we actually were prepared for the long waiting time. But to my surprise, the dessert and food came within 10mins! I also spotted the couple who sat down the same time as us got their food served just few mins after us (They ordered main course). Hmm..have their service improved? Or they had actually missed out our orders the last time we were there, that's why we had waited for 1.5hrs for our food? I shall visit the place for the 3rd time to check out their service again :)
