Congratulations

26th Dec mark a memorable day for my close friend - Limei. It's her wedding day! On the 25th night, I went to Phyllis house to sleep so that early in the morning, both of us could wake each other up as we had to reach the bride house at 5.30am. Hardly slept that night. When I really managed to fall aslp, it's time to wake up.

Reach her house around 5.45am. She was already half way through the makeup. When all the JieMeis had arrived, we started our discussion on the gatecrashing. As we only had 15mins for the sabo session, we didn't planned much. The worse part was the groom was late!! This shorten our "Playing" time even more. Wonder if the groom did it on purpose so he could escape the sabotage. Anyway, we still managed to run through all the games we had planned for him all because he FORGOT to bring along the bouquet of hand flowers! Luckily his house was only about 8mins walk from the bride's. One of his Xiong Di dash back to the house to get the flowers. As per instruction by the bride's mum, without the flowers, he was not allowed to come into the house. Hence we had more time for the gatecrashing session. Mr Groom, we had wanted to let you in, but your Mother-In-Law forbidded it...oops..hahaha..

The day was tiring. In between, the couple went Labrador Park and One Fullerton for photoshoots. Then we went to the couple's new house for the tea ceremony (Groom's side). We had our lunch at their new house at Jurong West. After the lunch, we headed back to the bride's house for another session of tea ceremony (Bride's side). Reach home at 2pm. Took out my contact lens, remove my makeup and storm into bed. Wonder why it was so much more tiring compared to the previous JieMei I had done.

Woke up at 5pm and got ready for the banquet. Phyllis and I had to reach the hotel by 6pm for our reception duty. Guest started flowing in around 7pm. They had a total of 50 tables, but it seems many tables were not totally filled up. First march-in started at around 8.20pm. Marina Mandarin had quite a special presentation of the first dish. The waiters/waitresses actually did a short dance on the stage carrying the plate of cold dish, before presenting it to the guest tables. Thumbs up for that.

Program for the banquet were much pretty normal, with photo montage, cake cutting and toasting, then tables photoshoots followed by shake-hand byebye.

Reach home at around 12am and slept around 1. Now this newly wedd couple is still enjoying their honeymoon in New Zealand when I'm writing this blog. May both of them had a blissful marriage ahead and had a road of happiness forever. ^_^
