Gong Xi Fa Cai; Hong Bao Na Lai

8th Feb
Work ended at 12pm this day. Reaches home ard 1+pm, get change and help mum with the reunion dinner which started abt 5+pm. After that, meet my German friend and hui to He Pan to watch fireworks. We walk around for a little while before heading to 'The Cheese Prata' for my fav cheese prata and teh tarik. Sent him back to his hotel after the supper before I headed back to my cosy bed. After sending me home, hui went to pick his auntie up at the temple. Poor dear, got to be chaffeur and sent his auntie and friends home first before he can go home. He reach home at 4+am and slept at 5+am!

9th Feb
As usual for every yr, went to temple first for praying, then head to Kor Poh house to bai nian. After that went to ah ma house. All other relatives will gather at ah ma hse. So just stay at one place, ang bao will keep coming in..hehe..had lunch at ah ma hse, stay there rot abt 2hrs, then meet hui at 4.30pm at bugis. Meet my german friend at 5.30pm for dinner. Most of the shops are close, nothing much to eat, brought him to Raffles hotel - Empire Cafe for some local delights. I had Crayfish Hor Fan, hui ate laksa and friend had Nasi Lemak. Both of us (Me & german friend)was fighting to foot the bill. I was smarter. While he went to the restroom, I called for the bill and pay it first. Total bill came up to $70. 3 of us went back to his hotel to collect his luggage and head towards Changi Airport. Reaches there ard 9+pm. Had desserts at the food court (this time he pay for it), chit chat awhile and we separated. This marks the end of his 5D4N stay in Singapore, and also my part timing as a tour guide.

10th Feb
Nothing special this day, wake up in the morning to help mum with the lunch coz relatives will be coming my house for lunch and majong session. Hui came to my house to bai nian at ard 5pm. Then we went to my ahma house and stayed for steam boat with my uncles and aunties. Left the place at ard 7.30pm and head towards hui house to bai nian and steam boat AGAIN! Reaches home ard 1+am.

11th/12th Feb
11th was a bored day. Took leave and just rot at home.
12th went to Phyllis house to bai nian and had a 1hr+ majong session to ease my itchy hand. Hui came to pick me up at Phyllis hse at 12.30pm to go his ahma house bai nian. Left his ahma hse at abt 2+pm, went to he pan for photoshots then to suntec for a walk. Had dinner at the food court, then went to hui house after dinner to watch SCV while waiting to meet up with his father, uncle and cousins to go Loyang Tua Bei Gong bai bai. His cousin and me was born in the yr of rooster. (1969 & 1981). Hui bought a golden egg from the temple as a gift for us. It was quite nice, when u open it, one side was engrave with a yuan bao, the other with a rooster with the word "Jin Ji Bao Xi".
