Happy Father's Day!

He's a son to his father, a husband to his wife and a father to his 3 children. Except for the 1st, I would think he had fulfilled almost 100% of his duty for the 2nd and 3rd role.

It's the 5th year he is celebrating Father's Day. A day that he can truely calls his day because he well deserve it.

Most of my friends who know him said I'm very lucky because as a husband, he is very hands on with housework and keeping the house spack and clean. He likes to use dettol around the house until it smells like hospital! But he does it all due to the health of the family to keep us all away from illness.

He allows the wife to go out and has some ME time during certain wkend while he stays home look after all 3 kids by himself. He does laundry most of the time at night and when wife wants to help, he will usually push the wife to look after the kids or asked her go watch TV.

As a father, he is also very hands on and willingly to feed his babies and change their dirty diapers. He learns from his wife how to cook baby porridge after #3 is born and has now take up the task sometime during wkend to cook for his children. Ever since #3 is born, his attention seems to be more on him and scolded his daughters more often everytime the 2 put Andre at risk of falling down. But when the kids are sick, his concern towards them display what a loving father will do.

No one is perfect and there is no perfect father too. Everyone learns along the way to be a better one in his/her role. My husband is not perfect either but there's nothing more to ask for with a husband that is so hands on leaving me less stressful and busy with work and kids compared to my other mummy friends. I had heard countless complain about their husband like a dua pek gong sitting infront of computer playing games or infront of TV watching show w/o giving a helping hand to the crying child. Some told me the child is already few years old but never did the child's father changed a poo-ed diaper or bathe him once.

Having a child is the responsibility of BOTH mother and father, not a one man show! I am blessed that my husband shared all the parenthood tasks with me, especially when I had TWO at one go. Seeing him being so dedicated to this role, I agreed to give him another in 2010. Otherwise, Andre would never had come to this world.

I love my husband. ECA love their father. Their father need to love their mother more because....

A greatest love the father can give to their children, is to love their mother.

That's my beloved SECA. My family.
Happy Father's Day, Dear!
