Happy Birthday Mummy!

Today (20th April) is Mummy's 62nd birthday! As she was not feeling well due to cough and sorethroat, we let her stayed at home to rest first before picking her up in the evening to go for dinner. Reached her blk carpark at 5.30pm and off we proceed to Dian Xiao Er @ Vivo for dinner. Old folks always prefer chinese food so this place would suits her. Especially since she was not well, having some hot soup will be nice to soothe her throat. We ordered a set menu for 4 pax. It's really nice! Elsie had a big bowl of rice all to herself while Chloe had 1/2 a bowl. Bill came up to slightly over $100.

After dinner, EC kept nagging that they wanted a birthday cake for ah ma. Actually they wanted to eat the cake themselves! Everywhere is fully pack so we settled at coffeebean and ordered some drinks and some slices of cakes. The kids sang birthday song for mum softly and all tug in to the cakes and drinks.

By then it was pretty late already so all decided to settle for home. Although there's no birthday candles to blow (as mum doesn't like to blow candles. Pantang!), but she did enjoyed herself. A belated bithday present will be given to her 1 week later as it's airflown from NYC! Shall post the gift when I present it to her. Thanks to SIL Mag/BIL Guy for helping to buy it.
