Our 13th Valentine's Day

Both of us took leave on 14th Feb to celebrate this event. Ok, we seems too "old" to celebrate V Day. V Day seems more like a day for young couples who are unmarried and still hot in the relationship. Since the birth of EC, we hardly celebrate this event as all our time are focus on work and the children. Somehow this year, I just wanted a OUR time. A day without kids and just the 2 of us on 14th Feb.

We did not want to fight for movie or restuarant space with those young couples. We are not planning to buy any presents for each other or flowers from him to me. We are not planning for any shopping because we had nothing to buy.

So off we went via the Tuas link to HERE after putting Andre with my mum and bringing the girls to school.

I took the wheels and did my first self-drive to legoland Malaysia. It was our 3rd time there so I knew the routes without using the GPS. We had bought the annual pass last year so had to fully make use of it. The first time we went with Hui's family, my mum and the 3 kids. The second time we went with EC only. The third time now, just the 2 of us!

Bringing kids along means we cannot try out rides together that are not suitable for EC. Therefore this round, we aim to take all the adults rides that we missed when we were there with EC.

It was a rainy day. It was already raining on our way there and rain heavier after we parked. We had our lunch at Old Town and the rain stop when we finished our lunch. Without further delay looking at the sky it's gonna rain again, we hurried our way into the theme park.

We took the The Dragon rollar coaster, the Dino Island (water splash slide) and watch the 4D movie. Wanted to do the Project X (another rollar coaster ride in a Car that accomodates 4) but it was under maintenance. After the 4D movie, it started to rain again. The weather was at our advantage. It let us played the things we wanted before starting to pour again. It was a cooling weather compared to the previous 2 visits where it was hot!

YES, we had conquer-ed that Dragon!

Left the place wet and head towards Aeon at Bukit Indah for some food. It was a big shopping mall with a big supermarket (Giant-alike). It was still raining heavily hence we loiter around the mall till about 3.45pm before heading back to Singapore to fetch the girls from school.

A nice V day spent with just the 2 of us at Malaysia.
