28th May:
We had a small celebration with my mum on 28th May as it was their lunar birthday. Mum bought a pretty disney birthday cake for them where they get to have their first birthday song sang, cut and eat their first birthday cake. After that, we went out for dinner at Xi Men Ding(Taiwan Cuisine) @ Vivocity and later shop awhile at Toys'R'Us hoping to find something to buy for them. End up couldnt find any suitable present but we did left the place with 2 swimming vest to use on their birthday party the next day at the chalet swimming pool.

29th May:
As it was a Monday on their actual day (30th May), we hold the party on 29th May, Sunday. We booked a chalet in March at Aloha Loyang Seaview Bungalow 1 for a 2D1N stay. Initially wanted a 3D2N but the Saturday (28th May) was full house. We've got a pretty good rate compared to the public rate because Hui's dad is a civil servant. But still, it was not that cheap because it was a super peak period (Sunday + school holiday).
Hui & I were really busy for the past few weeks preparing and finalising the party items. Now we're glad the party was over, but I had more parties upcoming for me to prepared! It's my Boy's Full month party in Sept and my niece's 3Yo birthday party in Sept too! My sis will be coming back Singapore from US and she wants to hold a BIG party for her daughter's 3YO. So I am responsible to help plan the party - from venue to buffet to cake ordering to party favours to invite card and many many more!
Ok, anyway let's come back to EC birthday party...It was a great fun for the girls as they got to cycle and swim on Sunday after we check-in. We reached the chalet at about 2.30pm but we could only get the key at 3pm (actual check-in time). So we walked around the premise, while the girls cycle around the premise. Their cycling skills had greatly improve and able to maneuver around freely.

After the swim, both concussed in bed for 1hour+ while the rest continued to decorate up the place with balloons and banners. Buffet and birthday cake came about 6+pm. Guests tuck in at the buffet spread around 7pm and we had cake cutting at about 8pm.

At night after the guests left, the girls kept nagging that they wanted to open up the presents. So after clearing up the place, we went into the room (with aircon!) and started the Open Presents Ceremony! They had fun tearing up the wrappers, shouting, clapping and laughing away!

The next day (30th May):
Had breakfast before we check-out and left the place at 10.30am. We brought the girls to eXplorerkid. Since it's their actual birthday today on Monday, Hui & I took leave to accompany them. :)
Among all the indoor playground, I liked eXplorerkid and Polliwogs the most. It's very spacious and the obstacles courses are big enough for parents to climb together with the kids. We've tried Fidgets but it was horrible. I had a hard time squeezing and climbing with the kids! Anyway, Hui and the maid were responsible to look after the girls and play with them while I took photos from outside.
After 1 hour, we left the place and head to Pastamania for lunch. The girls were so hungry by then! Later, the girls wanted to sit on the Ferris Wheel ride and of course we obliged since it's their birthday! Hui took the ride with them while I took photos again. It's not cheap lor, just 2 rounds cost $6.50 per ticket! Adult and kids same price!

We decided to call it a day and head home to take a nap for everyone. The girls fell asleep in the car on way home and were still sleeping when we reached home and placed them on their bed. Hui & I also took a short nap for about 1 hour. Extremely tired!
When everyone's awake, we left the house at about 6pm to return the Helium tank which we rented for the party, followed by dinner at Swenson@City Square Mall. FIL & SIL came along to join us for dinner.

After dinner, we quickly head back home to open up their last present. The Haenim Big Block which was delivered to our house on Sunday morning. We didnt had time to open it up and play with the girls when it was delivered as that time we were preparing and rushing for the chalet. So guess the final finale for their birthday was to open up that big box which they wanted to play with since it was delivered!
Hui's initial targeted present was the Grow'n up Scramble N Slide Play Center which cost $299.95 and he requested his siblings to share and purchase it for EC. Smart guy, ask his sisters to pay for such an expensive toy!

Due to space constraint at home and we do NOT live in landed property, I seriously don't want such a big toy to take up so much space in my living room. So we asked the sisters to hold on to the purchase while we think about it first....
2 weeks ago, I was surfing the SMH forum BP thread and came upon the thread that was selling this Haenim big block. Suddenly I just felt this is the RIGHT present for them now at 3YO! It's educational, creative & FUN to play with at their age now!
This Big Block caught my eye when the girls were about 1yrs+ old. That time, Hui rejected this purchase because he felt it doesnt suits the girls' age and will end up being the adult playing with it. Soon I totally forgot about this toy until now it pop back into my mind again! It's much cheaper than the toy Hui wanted to get and since Hui's sisters did not know what to buy for EC, we decided they will purchased this for them while I do the ordering. :)
The Monday ended with 2 satisfying kids concussed into deep sleep by 11.30pm, together with the adults!
