Goodbye Zoophonics; Welcome Julia Gabriel

The girls had been attending Zoophonics school since Jan 2010. Last lesson at Zoophonics@Serangoon was on 26th June. Kind of miss the teacher & students there. Hmmm, why do I sound like I am the one attending the school! I don't think the actual students (E&C) will even miss or remember the teacher & classmates at Zoophonics. They are not even aware that they will not be going back to Zoophonics anymore!

Lesson in progress...

Goodbye to Teacher Janet & the classmates in Zoophonics@Serangoon!

And on 3rd July, we first entered Julia Gabriel compound at Evan Roads. Time of class is longer from 1 hour with Zoophonics to 2 hours now at JG. It's very different between these 2 schools. JG had 2 English teachers (1 main 1 assistant) and 2 Chinese teachers (1 main 1 assistant) in each class. So they had better control of the students who aren't paying attention by "catching" them back into the lesson instead of letting them roam around the classroom. JG had a 15 mins playtime before the class starts and a 30 mins playtime in between the lesson time which include outdoor play, water play, sand play or swimming depending on the agenda for that week. A small teabreak is also included with small snacks and drinks.

First lesson theme for Term 3 is Dolphin - 海豚. 30 mins playtime is outdoor play. Art & Craft for both Chinese and English portion is related to the theme. Food is watermelon, cheese and raisin bread.

We are in Studio 2!
Able to view the outdoor playground from the classroom.

Before the class starts, 15 mins playtime

Teabreak!

10th July is their 2nd lesson with Theme as Fish - 鱼. 30 mins playtime is swimming. Art & Craft for both Chinese and English portion is related to Fish. Food is watermelon, biscuits and raisins.
Getting all ready to be wet

And then very wet...

Thanks to Daddy who kept pouring water on them and teaching them how to pour water on each other, they are now super wet!

3rd lesson theme is YELLOW! We need to wear yellow or anything related to yellow next week. Time to dig my wardrobe for yellow top! Time to see what my girls can wear next week!

Daddy suggested to just have a bunch of bananas hang over their neck. *faint*!
