A busy Saturday. 12+pm left the house to attend Hui's campmate cum polyfriend (Also my poly friend but he is not the same class as Hui & I) baby full month party at Bishan. Then proceed to Zoophonics at Serangoon for the girls' class. Went back to MIL's house after the class to collect the girls' porridge which we asked MIL helped to prepare. The girls did not had enough nap time hence both fell asleep on the way back to MIL's house. End up we stayed there for about 2 hour, waiting for the girls to wake up. Left the house at 6+pm to Liang Court for the Mother's Day dinner with Hui's family. Dinner was at Shin Yeh. A Taiwanese restaurant under Tung Lok's group. Food was not bad but the price of the food was quite expensive. Bill came up to about $370 for a table of 10.
9th May:
Actual mother's day was spent with my mum since every Sunday is a routine for me to go back Clementi. Went to Vivocity for some shopping before proceeding to early dinner at The Asian Kitchen. Many places were fully reserved since it's a special day so we just basically find a place that had seats for us. Food was quite good too and instead of eating the porridge which we brought out, Elsie wanted to eat the fried rice which Hui and Mum ordered. I think she enjoyed the rice alot but not sure is it because the rice was really that nice or she enjoyed eating it all by herself! The way I see her scooping up the rice using the spoon and putting it into her mouth made me realised how much she had grown up! Without much guidance, she seems to be able to do it the correct way. Guess we really cannot under estimate the observation skills the kids have and how good they are in imitating what the adults are doing! We now had to be really careful of what we speak and action infront of the girls!
Is it the milk powder now contains too much DHA which makes the kids in this century seems to be so much smarter??! Hmmm...
