Mid-autumn at Polliwogs

Early morning brought the girls for their 4th (also the last) jab of pneumococcal. For the previous 3 similar jabs, they are fine with the injection and did not develop any fever. Therefore I assume their body is already able to accept to this jab and will not develop fever for this round too. So in the afternoon, I jio Hui's sisters and BILs to Polliwogs at East Coast Park.

This is a place not for the adults, but kids. Something similar to Go Go Bambini, the indoor playground is slightly smaller with 3 levels (GGM have 4 levels) but is more spacious compared to GGB. The cost is also higher. For weekend, Polliwogs charge at $8 for 90 minutes for less than 2 years old. Subsequent 30mins at $3. Each kids allow 2 accompanying adults to enter for free. Subsequent adults will cost $5. GGB charge $5 for unlimited play (for <2yrs) with all accompanying adults enter FOC.

This time, the girls were more daring to climb and play around themselves compared to the visit at GGB. More laughters and action could be seen on the girls too at this place. We, the adults also had a great time there accompanying the 2 little girls climbing up and down and following them closely behind. I guess everyone had the best time on the slides because it was really fast when sliding down and we had our butts landed on the well-protected floor. Cool!

There is an area with tables and chairs for the parents to have a sip of coffee/tea absolutely free of charge, while watching their kids enjoying themself in the playground area. Snacks can be purchase from the vending machine and outside food is allowed in the relax corner.

After 1 hour+, we could see the girls were tired and it's also time for their milk. We prepared the milk and fed them at the relax corner, cleaned their face and hands and left the place as the 90 mins was up.

We then left ECP and head to Marina Square for dinner. Had our dinner at Kenny Rogers, walk around Marina for awhile before heading home to rest. The girls slept pretty early till the next morning. It's a good workout for them. More to come as this Mummy will continue to search and explore more such places in Singapore to bring the girls for "exercise"!

Besides playing, it's time for them to go for some enrichment classes too since they will turn 18months in 2 months time. I am already looking around for some good schools to bring them once a week for lesson to learn ABC/words/sing song/music/dancing etc. Will blog more about this when I have shortlisted my choice.
