Reunion

A reunion steamboat lunch with my fellow secondary classmates and teacher had made 5th Feb a meaningful day. A total of 13 people turned up for this lunch at Limei and Jiwei house. Our special guest was someone we feared in Sec 1 and 2 but have now become one of our seniors whom we gave our respect to. She's none other than our Sec 1 to 2 form teacher, Miss Ng Soo Ling. Thanks to Phyllis for inviting this long lost VIP whom we havent met her for sooo many years. We were no longer teacher and students but friends. We were her first group of students when she just started out teaching and was posted to PPSS. And now, being a teacher for 12 years, had made us realised we were no longer the teenagers wearing white shirt and navy blue skirt that had to reach school in time for flag raising ceremony singing the Mari-Kita song. We are now a bunch of middle-age woman having an income by fighting with the politics in the cruel working society. How I wish for a time-machine that could bring me back to the days of Class 1E1!

Anyway, we chatted about the past and individual update of our current life to Miss Ng. She is now teaching in Singapore Chinese Girls Sec Sch and this is her 4th school (PPSS, Tanglin, Nanyang Girls and SCGS). Ofcoz, not forgetting to introduce our partners to her as well!
