SC: Waa, no go out today?
S: Duno where to go. Any suggestion?
SC: M'sia...
S: Good idea. Let's call Andrew along too.
SC: OK!
And so, off we went to our neighbouring country, Johor Bahru.
Met at 3.30pm at the Woodland custom and took a bus to JB.
First thing we reached City Square was to purchase tickets for movie. Big Momma's House Part 2 was my first movie in JB. Each ticket cost RM$10 which was dirt cheap! Exchange rate was 2.27, which means the movie ticket only cost about SGD$4.40! This show was not release in S'pore yet, which means we got to watch it first before many other Singaporeans. The popcorn package (popcorn + drink) only cost RM$6.90 which was SGD$3.04. With the cinema voucher, Golden Village would still need $5 for the same package.
However...
The popcorns sold at the cinema was not as nice compared to our Golden Village. The seats were not as comfortable compared to Cathay Cineplex Orchard. The sound system was not that powerful compared to Singapore cinemas. But who cares?! With the price you paid, you can't expect too much either.
After the movie, we went Sentosa [NOT referring to Singapore Sentosa!] food centre for dinner. It was a sumptuous dinner! We had Sambal Kang Kong, Salad You Tiao, Sambal Sotong, Cereals Prawns for main course and Satay and oyster as side dish. For drinks, Sugar Cane for Andrew and me and Dragonfruit juice for Hui and SC.

We walked around Sentosa to digest the heavy food we had before taking a cab back to custom. Due to Sunday, the crowd was quite huge at around 10pm. We waited quite sometime before able to board the bus back to Singapore custom. Luckily, the road condition was not that bad and we managed to reach Singapore around 11pm.
Slept at 1am and prepared to drag myself to work the following day...
