A wonderful getaway to Meritus Mandarin Hotel on 3rd-4th Dec. Yes, after celebrating my anniversary there, few weeks later I'm back again. This time with 6 close girlfriends of mine - 5 secondary school friends and 1 cousin. Total guest: 7. Only 1 rule for the gathering: NO GUYS ALLOW!

This Hens' Party was specially organise for our dear Limei who will be getting married on the 26th Dec 2005. Check in at 2pm and only three arrived. As usual, there's always late comers in our group. And for your information, the late do not refer to minutes but in HOURS! There's always tons of reasons for being late.
Pls refer to the following for the timing of the arrival guest:-

Guest 1 and 2: 2pm.
Guest 3: 2.15pm
Guest 4: 4+pm
Guest 5: 6.30pm
Guest 6: 9+pm
Guest 7: 11.30pm

To the others, some guest arrival timing might be ridicules. But to a group of us who have been friends for 11 years, it was totally common!
Anyway, we did had our fun that day. After check-in, we went TAKA Cold Storage to grab some tidbits and drinks. Went to Wheelock NYDC for dinner at around 7+pm(Only applicable to Guest 1-5). Headed back to Cold Storage for a bottle of Vodka.

After the last guest arrived, we started our games and sabo section. We played Heart Attack, Zhong-Ji-Mi-Ma, Bluff, 7-Up and XXX (sorry, not sure what's the name of this game). All our childhood games really brought back many memories. After the wine and Vodka were all finished up, we decided to call it a day as it was already 3++am.

The challenge started...7 girls squeezing into a King size bed! All turning at the same direction towards the right. Not a single space for you to move your body. Due to the drinks, some left the bed for toilet and after they returned, their space was taken. Some managed to squeeze back into the bed while this particular guest prefer to sleep on the sofa instead after realising sofa might be more comfortable afterall. Early morning 7+am, I was awaken by the noise. As expected, complains started around the room on snatching blanket, body numb, cold, no space, etc etc.

Although all of us didnt manage to sleep well, but I truely enjoy every moment we spent that day. It was never easy to bring everybody together unless we had special events like wedding or chalet. Hence that 2 days spent was really a memorable one.
