Gone for 1 week

He left the house at 10pm yesterday night for a 2355 flight to Paris. He made the girls sleep and gave them a goodbye kiss. He gave me a hug and a peck and left the house feeling down. It's been 1 year+ since he last travelled for a business trip. The last time he travelled was in 2008 when the girls were only a few months old. Due to the economy downturn and travel budget freeze, the whole of 2009 he need not be on any business trip. Now the economy is better, all the business trips resume.

The difference between now and the trip travelled on 2008 was the girls are so much older. They knew to find for Daddy. Before sleep and awake, they will look for Daddy. Yet they are too young to understand what a business trip means or understand where Daddy go. I tried to explain but only get back a blur look asking for more "PaPa...PaPa....where?"

Yesterday when Hui left me the last msg that he had to off HP as the plane will take off soon, Chloe woke up from her sleep crying for Daddy. No matter how I pacify also no use. Is this a telepathy between the father and daughter? That she knows Daddy is flying off soon? I had to carry her up our bed then she started to stop whining. Did she smell Daddy's odour and thought Daddy is near her? Anyway I had to pat her for 30mins before she finally fell back into deep sleep.

This morning, they woke up and call for PaPa again. Will they keep doing that for the whole week or will they slowly forget about this routine that wake up must look for Daddy for milk?

I know Daddy misses them alot (more than misses me!!!). 1 week will pass very fast.
