Our 6th Year Anniversary

Every year this time, we always make it an effort to celebrate this special event. And we did it without fail for the past 6 years. Even though now we are of a married status, 12th Nov still marks a special date in our heart and we would never give it a miss to celebrate this day. Initially I wanted 12th Nov to be our wedding date, but due to this date was not an auspicious date for marriage in 2006, we've chosen 15th Oct instead. Therefore, besides dating anniversay, birthdays and Valentine's Day, we had one more wedding date to celebrate starting next year!

This year, we had chosen Intercontinental Hotel for our hotel stay to celebrate this special day. We check-in on the 11th Nov and check-out on the 12th. We reached the hotel around 3pm, settled down and went to Bugis Seoul Garden for dinner. We shop around Bugis for awhile until night time and went back to the hotel room for a rest.

Review of Intercon: I quite like the theme of this hotel. The design looks like those country style and have a cottage feel which reminds me of the little red-riding hood and Mary had a little lamb houses! We had our breakfast the next morning (12th Nov) at the Olive Tree. The breakfast was great but Hui ate much lesser than he normally would eat. He said he was sick of these breakfast buffet as he had eaten for straight 7days in Mauritius. Christmas decoration was up in the hotel and we took quite a few pictures with the big christmas tree and other decorations. Overall, it was a nice experience with Intercon!
